Tone and Tighten
A total body workout to improve core strength and tone muscles. Modifications for all fitness levels. 35/45 minutes
Improve balance, increase mobility, add strength and work on improving overall flexibility in this 55 and over class where everyone is welcome.
Advanced Cross Training
Workouts are designed with constantly varied functional movements performed at relatively high-intensity levels tailored for each individual, regardless of fitness level. We perform functional movements in a safe, effective and efficient manner, similar to those you use in everyday life. 35/45 minutes
Classes tend to be 45/60 minute sessions. Every day you must stretch out or your body will lock up with tension and tightness. Gentle is great for seniors and power yoga is a great addition for cross training.

No. Advanced Cross Training is the program designed to help you get into better shape. Your fitness level does not matter, it is simply a starting point. We are all-inclusive regardless of your fitness and strength level or age. As you become more fit, your designed workout will become more challenging. Every workout is tailored to improve your fitness and confidence and guide you toward a healthier lifestyle.
Yes. Everyone can do Advanced Cross Training regardless of age, injuries and current fitness levels. The program is tailored for each person to help him or her safely become healthier and more fit. Grandparents and Olympic athletes can perform modified versions of the same general workout. Our workouts are performed in a group environment. If you like working out with people who have similar goals as you, this class is for you. We are all-inclusive and believe in building supportive encouraging relationships with each other.
For beginners, we recommend attending 3 days a week. The ideal state is attending every other day or close to it, with rest/active rest days in between. For more advanced, it is recommended 2 days on with one day of active rest and then repeat. Obviously, everyone’s schedule may not work for that, but you can use it as a guide. We are confident if you commit to attending class consistently for one month, you will see a dramatic improvement in your fitness and overall well-being.
Yes. Our Advanced Cross Training is one tool to assist you in migrating toward a healthy lifestyle. To accomplish your weight goals faster, we recommend you eat a variety of healthy foods in quantities to support fitness training, but not body fat. By avoiding excessive amounts of refined carbohydrates and measuring your intake of protein, carbohydrates and fat, you will see dramatic, measurable increases in health. We recommend combining our Advanced Cross Training with our Nutrition classes to further educate and assist you on your journey.
Yes. Advanced Cross Training is very safe. Sitting on your couch is dangerous. We provide precise instructions and coaching to help people move safely and efficiently, helping them avoid diseases and injuries stemming from inactivity, obesity and poor nutrition. Our vision is to be active and functionally fit, well into our 90’s and beyond.
Absolutely yes. We incorporate constantly varied functional movements. One of the main characteristics of constant variation is the use of very different loads, time constraints and movements. The variation challenges our body to get stronger, while increasing our work capacity. An elite endurance athlete can run for a long distance, but is typically challenged with strenuous loads. For someone focusing on weight/resistance training only, incorporating cardio elements is enormously challenging. We incorporate strength, gymnastic and cardio elements to maximize fitness performance and health.
Absolutely yes. We all have our passions in life and we should continue to do what makes us happy. We do need to be conscious of our nutrition and recovery to ensure we are addressing our added activities. Regardless of your current favorite activity, we are confident you will find improved performance and overall well-being by participating with us for one month.
Yes. Advanced Cross Training will definitely improve overall fitness. We have designed our program to have the greatest impact as possible. Advanced Cross Training is not a specialized fitness program, but a deliberate attempt to optimize each of 10 fitness domains: cardiovascular/respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance and accuracy. Advanced Cross Training helps prepare you for all challenges, whether they come in the gym, on a playing field or as part of your everyday life.
No. Our class performs the same general WOD (Work Out of the Day) each class together. The workouts are sometimes done as an individual or in teams of 2, 3 or 4. We all work out together in a safe and supportive environment. We will be monitored by an expert coach focusing on safe efficient movements throughout the class.
